Actually, a lawful marriage is leading to a legally difficult divorce, just like during the time of anti-miscegenation laws.(Course we know that Christians have a far lower divorce rate than non-Christians, right? ;)
As you are probably aware, I was talking Scripturally lawfull, not "Americanly" lawful. And you are correct, the Christian divorce rate is atrocious. But God's law is still God's law.
