Wonderful Mysteries

Many a truth when taken into the soul as a whole has proved to be very sweet to the heart. We could not understand it, but no sooner had we believed it than we were conscious of its delightful influence upon the inner nature. Who can understand the twofold nature of our Lord's person, or the doctrine of the Trinity in Unity, or the predestination which does not violate free agency? And yet what a delight these truths create in minds which cheerfully accept them.
