CRF Growth

To God be the glory, great things he has done.

I continue to be impressed with the Spirit's work among those of CRF. As far as I can see, from the oldest to the very youngest, all are walking well with the Lord. This gives me great joy as the elders from our overseeing church will soon be coming up to conduct a meeting to go over the process of particularization (a fancy word having to do with electing and ordaining our own elder body). With such stregnth of Spirit I am confident that our church will move ahead under the blessing of God.

As one of our members recently said, "We may be small, but we are mighty." True indeed! I have even begun to keep a list of all the prayers that we have offered and the Lord has answered. I am keeping this as a public testimony to the Lord's goodness and an encouragement to thankfulness among us. In less than two months we have well over thirty answered prayers.

I also want to give public testimony to the memorization of our Psalms. It is always warming as a pastor to see congregation members singing by membory the psalm we have been working on that month. But tonight my wife expressed her thanks as it came in handy in the emergency room. My daughter broke her arm and to help soothe her mother began to sing teh sweet psalms that had been on her mind as of late.

With the congregation growing so hearty in spirit, growth in number shall follow quite assuredly.
