Lusting for Flesh: Planned Parenthood's Sex Educaton

Imagine that! A study done by Planned Parenthood found that abstinence only education doesn't work! Well, I guess we will just have to treat those kids like the lusty, uncontrollable animals that they are and tell them to indulge their beast born sexual appetites to their hearts' content! I mean, we certainly cannot expect them to be responsible and chaste.

You don't think that PP's ability to make $300 and up on every abortion has anything to do with their findings, do you?

Let's try to assume for a moment that the survey was not skewed. How hard have public school teachers been pushing abstinence only education? You are being taught by teachers who do not share the same worldview and set of morals. Do you think it is really emphasized all that much? When I was in school it was, "Sure, abstaining is the best way, but we know that you won't. So do the right thing and have 'safe' sex."

Moreover, when kids are thrown together for 8-9 hours a day during school (and whatever may come after school hours) without any parental supervision, can we not expect that they will be tempted far beyond their ability to withstand? Our culture is so driven by sex that even the pressure to "hook-up" exists in elementary schools. How much more is this intensified at the Jr. high and high school levels.

The fact is, abstinence only education does work. But it must be taught sincerely by parents/teachers/pastors and backed by environments that promote chastity.
