No! Not All Sinners Go to Heaven!

I guess I am now a universalist. Well, at least according to the Times Gazette I am. You might remember this post entitled,

"Christ Clings to His Tormentor to Redeem Sinners."

That article was written for the pastor's column in the TG. But this is the headline that they used:

Christ Clings to Tormentor to Redeem All Sinners."

There is a slight difference in words, but huge difference in theology (Some of theirs coming through perhaps?). Urrrrgh!

So let it be known to the public: I am not a universalist. I do believe and often preach about the fiery torments of hell that those who do not look to Jesus will suffer. Indeed the populous of heaven is wide and vast. But there is also a real and dismal place called hell, and many do now occupy it because they have not embraced the sole means of salvation.
