Super wow! Two great conferences in the same month, right here in the neighborhood!
Earlier I mentioned the Ted Kluck conference at Ashland Christian School. I just learned that Ken Ham from the Creation museum and http://www.answersingenesis.org/ is coming to Crossroads Community Church in Mansfield March 26-28th (view details here)!
The Ham conference is free. What's great about it is that on the 28th Ham is also putting on classes designed just for kids. This is great for any youth, but homeschoolers should have a special interest. However, if you're kid is in school, yank 'em out and give them a day of refreshing Bible centered science.

HA! Great catch! I didn't have time to edit b/c I was on my way out the door to an all day meeting. So funny!
Seriously - have you ever listened to one of Ken Ham's presentations?
He has one of the most bizarre "fasttalking whatsciencethinkstheysaythebiblesays
becauseitallmakessuchgreatsensenowdoes'ntitfolks?" speaking styles that REALLY raises suspicion of somebody who is trying to pull a fast one on a gullible audience.
Why is it necessary for him to resort to this, do you think??
He has also been "busted" more than once, playing fast-and-loose with creationist factoids, promoting half truths and just-so stories.
....and on a related story - what in the world is a "museum" supposedly based in paleotology, geology, and biological sciences doing promoting an event dealing with "marriage/family and social issues combined with exciting, uplifting musical presentations"????
