Our Sunday evening fellowship group would like to invite you to join us as we kick off our new series. We'll be watching and discussing That the World May Know: Faith Lessons from the Prophets and Kings. Ray VanderLaan is an expert in the land of Palestine, and in each video segment he brings new meaning and significance to a particular Bible passage by helping us understand the terrain and context of the day.

Palestine? I have searched the Scriptures for that, and see Israel mentioned, but not Palestine. Was not that a term used to replace Israel by those who hated the Jews? Did not Jesus speak of Israel? I know that many modern "scholars" like to use the term Palestine. After all, it takes the name of God (El) out of the land that God gave to the Jews.
