Sum of Liberalism

Richard Neibur once accused the liberal church of "proclaiming a God without wrath who brings men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministry of a Christ without a cross."

Modern Liberalism

I found this brief outline of modern liberalism to be a fine summary up and sketch of its development.

At the least it could serve as a primmer for the theological novice or as a good reference for the theologically inclined (i.e. the people who usually say things like, "Who was it who talked about the "demytholization of the Bible?").

Those who may be in a mainline church may wish to view its contents. Most likely you don't know anything about theological liberalism. I don't say that to be mean, I have simply found that most who attend such churches just don't know what they or their church believe. Don't be offended, many who would call themselves "evangelical" fall into the same error.
