Jerome K. Jerome's book,
Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow, looks like it will be a light, but stimulating read. From the first chapter he has some
humorous/insightful words on idleness:
One cannot enjoy idling unless he has something to do. There is nothing fun in doing nothing when you have nothing to do. Idleness, like kisses, to be sweet must be stolen.
