Jesus: the Authority on Hell

Paul Washer makes a good point about the reality and severity of hell. After pointing out that it is not spoken of much in the OT and in the NT epistles he says,

"If it were not for Jesus, we would know almost nothing about hell...It almost seems as if hell is so terrible that only God himself can describe it."
