Because of my stand against the increase in sales tax I have been called "a drunken blowhard who listens to too much talk radio."
Well, I find myself in good company. Jesus too was called a drunkard and a glutton. I'm not sure if he was ever called a blowhard (unless you count that whole Beelzebub incident), but the people certainly didn't take to his message.
As my wife pointed out, the fellow who attacked me didn't deal with anything that I had to say. He attacked the speaker rather than the speech.
But if you need to know... Yes I do listen to a lot of talk radio. I spend the first three hours of my day at Chandler Systems in theology. The last three in politics. That is my way of seeking to fill Solomon's injunction:
