Fallen Star

Ray Boltz now pledges his allegiance to the Snake. The musician, known for his song "I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb," has recently divorced his wife of 33 years and announced his homosexual lifestyle. Boltz even went so far as to say that God made him a homosexual, a statement that directly opposes what Paul said in Romans about such behavior being "unnatural."

I wouldn't suggest throwing out his CD's, but we should recognize that one cannot openly and ardently oppose the clear teaching of God's word and be a Christian. Those who inherit the kingdom of God must renounce lifestyles that God condemns (be it homosexuality, reviling, greed...).

Not everyone would agree with your interpretation of scripture. Here is another view if you are interested.

Tim, It is interesting how far people will go to justify themselves and their personal beliefs. As Peter says regarding Paul's letters, "His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to tehir own destruction."

The article tries to reformulate homosexuality as a "modern conception." To say this is simply arrogant, pointing the finger at primitive peoples (who happened to be inspired by God!). The Bible makes it clear that homosexuality is not part of the created order (i.e. Adam and Eve), but a perversion of God's order.

I see your web site and raise you a web site http://www.sbministries.org/thebible.html
