Stupidity of Rejecting the Death Penalty

The Ashland Center for Non-Violence is continuing to hammer away at the death penalty.

The TG recently reported that the ACfNV is holding a conference where a lady will speak on having to deal with the murder of one or both (I forget) of her parents. The speaker is supposed to say something to the effect that the murder of her parents would not justify her killer's death by the state.

Yet God in his word justifies it when he says that whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood shall be shed.

I wonder if she would even go so far as to say that the killer should not be put in jail, or punished all together. Jail would be a form of violence as he would be taken away from family/community and be stripped of his rights as an American. Hey, if we are going to be pacifists, let's be consistent!
