Doctrine on Fire

Doctrine on fire.  That's the kind of preaching that will ignite souls and fan the flame of piety.  Unfortunately, very rarely do you find preaching like that anymore. 

However, you can find such sermons in ages past.  And you can find it over at the Town Crier or Kindled Fire sites too! 

I'm seeking to put together some audio recordings of great sermons from history's great preachers.  The first sermon has already been put out.  Here's the description: 

In the 1800's it was common for the leaders of the civil sector to call for days of repentance and prayer in times of need.  In 1854, after a certain providence had afflicted the well-being of the Commonwealth of South Carolina, the legislature called upon Thornwell to render a message fitting for the occasion.  The text he chose for the occasion was Isaiah 26:9, "For when thy Judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness."   The message explains that God's judgment for sin is often manifested in wars, pestilence, and famine and such times requires
